Sum-of-Years Depreciation Calculator

This depreciation method multiplies the remaining book value by the ratio of the number of remaining years to the sum of the years of life. If the life of the asset is five years, the sum of the years of life is:

5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 15
